Laziness and disrespect if you ask me.
It’s like being a cover band and trying to take credit for the songs of others that you play. They aren’t your lyrics. It’s not your hook. No matter how loud and repetitive the bass and drums are, you are just riding the coat tails of the original composers. Re-inventing something that already existed isn’t really creativity,
Hollywood, you should take note too…we’re all getting sick of seeing re-inventions of old movies and TV shows instead of new ideas and actual creativity.
