A block of ice the size of Delaware could trigger a 4-inch sea level rise

The 4″ rise is eventual, which if realized would be obviously devastating, even over a period of years. Nobody would be laughing and denying climate change anymore with even half that amount. The good news is, this “small” incident will help scientists determine what will ACTUALLY happen if a more significant portion of polar ice were to melt, and could perhaps be a wake-up call rather than the end of life as we know it. I’m really stretching to see a bright side here though, you know? #ClimateChange #icemelt
