Attorney general blasts First Church of Cannabis for RFRA claim

Actually, that’s EXACTLY what it’s meant to protect, when the State tries to tell you what to believe…or makes ANY law that denies someone their right to their own beliefs…no matter how crazy…as long as no one is directly harmed, 1st Amendment rights are being violated. The State has no right to pick and choose which illegal activity they condone…like pastors flying high over their flocks in $40 million dollar jets which they believe God wants them to have…while denying an alternative, yet viable claim, in this case that Cannabis helps open minds and spirit to God. That’s NOT so ridiculous…and certainly defensible under the 1st Amendment. I mean, it’s not like they’re practicing witchcraft…oh wait…also covered under Amendment #1. Satanic worship too…fully protected. Most importantly, the right to worship outside of the mainstream…fully protected. Even if you’re the only member in your church, because the whole world IS wrong.

You zealots don’t have the right to force people to do what YOU THINK is the right thing to do. Free Will is as Christian as it is Capitalist, and YOUR ‘right thing’ is PROBABLY not the same as mine…and that’s OK. Cannabis may not be right for you, and that’s OK. For you, anyway. Get over it.

“RFRA was never meant to protect illegal conduct masquerading as religious faith,” said Indiana’s solicitor general, Thomas M. Fisher…” #News420
