Ah #religion. There’s a reason they tell you not to talk about it at parties. Because, the more religious YOU think you are, the crazier the REST of us KNOW you are.
But, look…I’m not gonna judge you. Believe in God, believe in anything you want…but you’re WRONG if you try to force your beliefs on anyone else, and you suck as a parent if you aren’t teaching your children to decide what to believe for themselves.
True religion is all about personal choice. Free Will. It’s an important concept in most religions, because otherwise, there can be no faith. There’s nothing to believe…nothing to accept in faith at all. It’s simply an ORDER that must be followed, requiring ZERO faith and tons of fear.
Does your God FORCE YOU to believe and demand your worship under threat of penalty or death? Because that’s not religion…that’s manipulation. Religion also has no place in politics, because then it’s just mass manipulation; supported by fear mongering on a more grandiose scale. That’s why the First Amendment stipulates TWO WAY protections for The Church and The State…protections from EACH OTHER.
