Herd immunity: Is it a more compassionate approach or will it lead to death or illness for millions?

Herd immunity is when 60-70% of the population are IMMUNIZED with a vaccine, and act as a shield for the rest of the population who is unvaccinated.
Allowing a virus to run rampant in order to create herd immunity is cruel and inhuman, as it would result in death of more than 1% of the population based on current death rates, targeting the most vulnerable among us. Elderly. Minorities. Idiots who listen to Trump and won’t mask up. Survival of the fittest they’ll say, but it sounds a lot more like eugenics to me. 3 million dead Americans. Starting with the poor, oppressed, stupid and sick.
While we could probably use a lot less stupid in America, we can fix that with improved education. We don’t need to kill off all of the morons, mee-maws and minorities to get herd immunity…which might only be temporary anyway. Only a mad man would suggest letting a virus run its course. Someone with zero compassion and an abundance of malice.
