So things are pretty fucking awesome here, in the middle of nowhere #goodlife. Shelly #BestGFEver and I have been spending a lot of time working at the radio station #IndieBrew, and that project is really taking off. Lots of new music is being added all the time, and we just partnered with DemocracyNow to carry their 1 hour daily independent news every night at 10pm EDT #DemocracyNow. Good stuff. On that note, #MusicPun if you haven’t heard, I’ve finally been busy in the studio #ItsTotallyLikeWorkDude. The track below is the first of several new songs I’ve been working on. These are all rough drafts, and I’m still working on my studio chops in terms of mixing and mastering #IStillSuck…but they are also the earliest glimpses of what these songs will grow into as they teach themselves to me…as I play them #SongCubs. Believe it or not, I can play a song over and over thru the recording process and STILL not learn the lyrics #WORKITellYou #FourLetterWords. I pen them, but I’m pretty sure I don’t write a lot of these songs of mine. The words come from my mind and pen, but they are put there…from somewhere #Aliens?. I just pick them up. When I’m paying attention, anyway.
