Forget the bucket and a dream…this guy has the patience of a fucking saint to build these amazing works of silica…All to be washed away the next high tide.
Wow. But impermanence is just not a motivator for me…if I’m going to take the time to create something, I’d like to think it would last. What if Van Gogh had set fire to every painting immediately after he finished it? What if Dali used his paintings to line the litter box before the paint fully had even fully dried?
