Maybe they shouldn’t be so diametrically opposed to popular opinion and common sense regulations. Even many true gun enthusiasts are stepping back from the ludicrous and shameful platform in the face of so many tragedies. I’m personally a defender of the second amendment, but I cannot support the NRA and their campaign to make weapons manufacturers and dealers rich as our children are slaughtered, thanks to our unwillingness to ask a few simple questions…and check the answers…about ALL gun buyers. An intelligent nation would also mandate gun owners receive training, and take care to keep the privacy of gun owners intact from illegal searches and all snooping.
All these things are possible if we WANT them to be…but the NRA does all they can to BLOCK every effort. No wonder they’re broke.
