McConnell went ‘nuclear’ to confirm Gorsuch. But Democrats changed Senate filibuster rules first.

Remember when Harry Reid and the Democrats used the #NuclearOption? It was that change that rendered them powerless to do anything about Trump’s nominations. It was that bonehead move that allowed Mitch McConnell to stonewall for months and never call a vote on Obama’s Merrick Garland. Good job Dems. The Republicans threatened, but Democrats took the bait.
By doing so, Democrats brought this upon themselves, and now it seems, would rather play tit-for-tat forever. IF the Dems DO take the Senate back, I suggest they put on their big boy pants and change the rules back to requiring 60 votes (and compromise with the other side) to confirm Presidential nominees…people who will work for ALL Americans, not just one party. Presidential appointments should not be partisan – especially not judges and justices. The law must be blind to party affiliations.
