I don’t remember sharing this thought two years ago, but according to Facebook I did. It sounds like something I’d say, so I guess I believe it. I’m also a little too lazy to actually scroll back to check.

Anyway, it seems even more appropriate now, as we’re trying to vaccinate our way out of The 2020 Pandemic. COVID-19 has proven to be an unexpected twist like no other, an abrupt turn of events that literally brought our lives to a standstill. You can’t plan for these things. Or live in fear of the next one. You can only hope to survive. To stay safe and healthy. So you can run forward into another new day after this one, with hope for the future, however unexpected it may become.

I hope everyone stays safe and well. Wear a mask, even if you’ve gotten the shots. Wash your hands. Be kind. ~jg

On that note, #MusicPun if you haven’t heard, I’ve finally been busy in the studio #ItsTotallyLikeWorkDude. The track below is the first of several new songs I’ve been working on. These are all rough drafts, and I’m still working on my studio chops in terms of mixing and mastering #IStillSuck…but they are also the earliest glimpses of what these songs will grow into as they teach themselves to me…as I play them #SongCubs. Believe it or not, I can play a song over and over thru the recording process and STILL not learn the lyrics #WORKITellYou #FourLetterWords. I pen them, but I’m pretty sure I don’t write a lot of these songs of mine. The words come from my mind and pen, but they are put there…from somewhere #Aliens?. I just pick them up. When I’m paying attention, anyway.

These Eerie Photos Show The Ghosts Of Olympics Past

I heard the idea proposed that the Olympics be hosted by DEVELOPING countries, rather than wealthy ones. The concept is that all the olympic money would be dumped by wealthier nations, into economies that desperately need it, and MAYBE all the construction will be put to use after the 2 weeks of world gaming ends.

Think about it. Every 4 years, another small, struggling nation is saved from disaster by larger, wealthy ones…instead of wealthy nations building stuff that will be abandoned, abused, or destroyed after the games. Unbelievably wasteful when you think about it…so many could be helped.
