It gets worse before it gets better. I hated my voice right after I quit, and it seemed harder to breathe while singing. It got better after all the tar and shit got expelled, and the alveoli could actually make contact with the air again. But maybe a few bong hits could help renew that smokier tone, Adele. ~jg
