Take the art out of school and you take the heart out of our children. It IS #ChildAbuse. Abuse by deprivation. Why not take away sunlight and recess while you’re at it. A well rounded education MUST include music, art and sports…and Everyone has a fucking right to an excellent, well rounded education in an open, democratic society. Capitalism doesn’t have to mean cruelty, people. Don’t believe the lies.
IF we truly had one person / one vote in this country, our children would have the best education, everyone would have affordable health care, and poverty would be next to nothing. But as long as we let corporate interests steer public policy, money is power and The People come last. The voice of Lockheed Martin, JP Morgan and Aetna drown out the the vote…the voices…of thousands of Americans. We ALLOW the suffering of our fellow Americans with our silence, as the polarity in America is leveraged to maximize profit for the wealthy.
Time to put up or shut up people. I’ll never shut up.
