Ridiculous. If the federal government paid $400/mo average per citizen for private health insurance, it would cost 1.4 Trillion…and I bet with a group of 300 Million or so, read: EVERYONE they might even get better group rates.
This is about will. If we want universal health coverage and awesome free education, all we have to do is decide it…and stop funding other less important things. Like benefits for billionaires…perks and extras, in hopes they’ll create a few more shitty-can’t-earn-a-living jobs for desperate masses to fight over.
