How soon we forget. I place blame squarely on my generation, because I’m old enough to remember water and air so foul and full of pollutants, that it seemed like we were on the verge of poisoning ourselves right into extinction. That’s where letting business regulate itself got us. Then created the EPA to protect us from ourselves, and we started cleaning things up.
